DNS Tunneling

Page history last edited by Miguel Tablan 8 mos ago

Creating a DNS Tunnel is doable. DNSTunneling can be done by using UDP Port 53, also known as the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP). The ICMP is used to report errors to the server. By using UDP/53 all your network connection goes only through it. Since conventional routers and WiFi connections detect traffic in this port as a message protocol instead of a transport protocol, traffic in this port is unrestricted. I think that DNSTunneling is unethical because it can be used to take advantage of Wifi services in places like malls or Starbucks for free.
