Theories:

1. Moral Isolationism

In this ethical theory an action is right as long as it is fine with the doer's culture.

Strength:People of the same culture will agree with patent trolling.

Weakness: People of other cultures will disagree.

2. Utilitarianism

In this ethical theory an action is right as long as the majority will benefit from it. Patent Trolling will benefit much of the Philippine population therefore it is morally right.

Strength: The company would be able to share the benefits of the technology to the na

            Weakness: People will be discouraged to share their technologies because it will only be copied.

3. Egoism

This theory argues that an action is right as long as the doer will benefit from it.

Strength: Filipinos will greatly benefit from patent trolling.

Weakness: Filipinos' benefit will come at the cost of the technology
